Im a lvl 11 El/Mes and i am being frequently defeated in pvp my build is:
Frozen Burst
Shard Storm
Ice Spike
Ice Prison
Backfire
Aura of restoration Channeling and Empathy

Any tips for pvp, anything in my build hideously wrong? Please people im dieing here! literally(excuse the lame pun)

1) I would not advise going water magic if you plan to be outwardly offensive.

2) You don't have water trident and many other important skills, it will help a lot once you get them.

If you want to work among the same lines, use this build from the elementalist sticky.

Echo Trident
Elementalist/Mesmer

Water Magic 12 +3 Rune, +1 Hat
Energy Storage 11 +1 Rune
Air Magic 4 +1 Rune
Illusion Magic 5

Water Trident (elite)
Shard Storm
Ice Spikes
Maelstrom
Ice Prison
Water Attunement
Gale
Arcane Echo

Until you get these skills, you just have to tough it out.

Dont pvp, lol. That build is a fairly late bloomer.

Yeah, you're not gonna get water trident without a nasty trip to the shiverpeaks. I've seen it on ice elemental boss and frost imp boss. Go with the elementals if you have a choice, they're 10 times as big as imps and 1/10th as dangerous.

Personally I HATE water trident---since I'm usually on the pointy end of it.
